This issue is presented in a unique way. The whole issue is sideways, or"wide screen".

The cast from the ill fated Fantastic Four movie from 1994.
Never released, it is rumoured that it was made as a "B" movie just so the producers could retain the rights, which were about to expire.

Fantastic Fridays

Susan Richards (nee Storm). Back in the early days, always thought of as the week link in the team. Typical of the era, she often was the damsel in distress that needed rescuing by the rest of the team. Even her original code name, The Invisible Girl, limited her place on the team.

Over the years though it became quite obvious that she was the glue holding this group together. The diplomat and peacemaker. The one trying to find the peaceful solution to every situation. And it became quite apparent during John Byrne's run that she was by far the most powerful member of the team. Sue even got a more respectable code name: The Invisible Woman.

So, here is to Susan!

The FF by VonToten on deviantART

I am a big fan of the art work of John Byrne. His work on the FF was some of the best since Kirby. Among the many neat things he brought to the table during his tenure on the book was bringing in Jennifer Walters, aka: She-Hulk, onto the team when The Thing left after Secret Wars to take some time off. I always liked the character and Byrne's take on her. She just seemed to fit into the team well.
